    Dakota Weather Consultants Weather for Aug 25

    Good Evening,

    Well another cold front pushing through the Central US Plains, will make its way into the Great Lakes for Friday, while behind the front there will be a short lived cool down, followed by another round of warm weather, this warm weather will make it all the way into parts of Canada that will be dealing with the 30C temps along with a breezy southerly wind.

    Thanks for your input , I got one day please keep it coming . Our Candian forecast sucks until harvest , then they are right lol

      If it was possible , probably not , that we had accurate forecasts three months out , a lot of farmers in west central Sask would not have went wall to wall lentils and lose their ass this year

              That would have been worth millions more that all the fancy tech being pushed at farms that is worthless without knowing weather

                some guys here paying $10/ac for agrologists help with soil samples and weekly visit , crops are f$&ked but that bill will still come to them . amazing

                  Exactly caseih , I brought this point up here this spring and got pooh poohed on .
                  I think the quote was - you still have to grow a crop you need the best advice - well is Mother Nature Gona pay that bill ??

                    I for one, agree for sure. $10 an acre for 'high value" advice on low value crops.
                    There are far cheaper sources of agronomic input. If the expensive advice helps you that much, on all acres, all the time, you have bigger problems. One being too much money.
