The determination to create monopoly here is incredible. Hopefully competition bureaus are alert. When have those guys ever had a clue.

Think they are making off with all the loot? Government gave them the magic key. Guess we will see if we have a competition bureau.

Don't expect too much from the Competition Bureau it is basically stocked with young bright lawyer types on a career path from law school to a job as a corporate lawyer. Think it's a coincidence that the CB never seems to act against corporate interests? Put it down to career advancement!

Big business has figured this out years ago in all industries, don't try to out sell the competition just buy them out, it's much easier. But yet we have farmers who want to compete against each other here in Western Canada and around the world. There were prairie pools at one time farmers, let them fade away without a peep. Yes the CWB had issues, but many on here wanted it gone, rather than insist major changes be made to better suit farmers. Many on here boosted that when the CWB goes the USA grain buyers would be knocking at their doors to buy their grain. This was the sole purpose of the WCWGA, now you her squat from them regarding any issue of importance. The CGC has been completely gutted of any power, and most farmers just let die a slow death.

So when you guys come on here whinning about big business running the show and farmers are getting shafted from each and every direction, all I can say is you had to be blind not to see it coming. Get ready it's only going to get worse, and those of you who are on a shoe string budget, it's sad to say but your years are numbered, unfortutely many Canadian farm will go under.

And then some will pick up the pieces and go right on farming.

Except they won't be on Agriville whining.

FYI Forage, we have US semis coming this week to pick up wheat FOB farm. It just happens to be Penhold which Richardsons insist they will only buy as CPS, but, this US company sees Penhold's specs as #1 DNS 14%.

Yes on the competition bureau. If if it is futile. Farm groups should make some noise. Even if the Competition Bureau worked better than Liberty Hebicide . . . Oh wait, that's not at all!

Agree, they made it all or nothing. We're at worst no worse off without them.
