    Too much grease....

    IN THE GUN!
    Actually big sealed bearings failing. Less than 1500 hours.

          To much grease,to little,to different(seriously),if its later model deere i can put you in touch with neighbour who solved the problem,patent and all,genius guy .

              No such thing as too much grease. So long as you continue to overgrease. I add grease to new bearings. I drill old bearings or remove the seals to grease them. Farm machinery bearings die of old age because the grease dried up.

                My dad taught me that trick too. A drill, a grease needle, and silicone to seal it up till next time.

                      I'm putting it down to pressure washing by previous owner.
                      A 6 inch OD bearing rated for 2600 RPM should have never failed in this application.
                      Could have taken out the whole shoe.
