    Rain on the weekend

    well we got away with 8 tenths , quite a relief after the forecast said 3 inches . how did others fare ? anyone get the big dump?

    My rain gauge in Regina said 1.3 inches, it didn't seem like that much.

        Same here 1.3", some of it TOO fast water in lowspots, combines/sprayers will leave ruts.

          2.5". Wind is screaming. Shutters rattling.

            After nearly an inch of rain, wind should dry canola straw and swaths.
            Hope to get some higher moisture seed to blend with five and six percent stuff we took off last week.

              1.10", howling wind since dawn, standing will definitely go first, although this wind will certainly help dry those heavy canola swaths that are still out there.
