How can one comment? Weather will be its own variable self. Sometimes we will feel lucky, other times not so much. Scammers will still try to make out like bandits if they can scare the shise out of the weaklings. But we will continue to need carbon, sunlight and rain for this gig called food growing. NASA has known that carbon and man can't have enough influence with the size of the universe, but there's no money if everyone feels secure with the status quo.

Two warm years, so what, go back to the eighties, go back to the sixties, the thirties and history has boundless records of warm spells, cooling, droughts, floods. Climate change is normal. One must accept that or save their money for the first flight out to a new planet.

It's been an outstanding year for us, a biological gift that comes along only once or twice in a farming career. From starting out scarily dry we had 140% of usual growing season moisture but we can handle that the way we farm. The extra growth resulted in us harvesting a full extra winters feed for our cattle over and above expectations. In addition everywhere we grazed we got considerably more production than expected plus we were able to lay down a substantial amount of litter. It allows us to make about 3 years of progress in building soil/improving forage in 1 year.
