I would say combining done for this year. The long term highs don't look good, plus 5 and 6 for highs so for most of the day it's actually only plus 2 or 3, has to melt snow plus dry the crop some, not going to happen. The way the year has gone it just can't break out of the wet cycle , rain every weekend like clockwork since the end of June usually with showers in between. Take last Friday, was supposed to be sunny and high of 18, were fogged in until noon, had to have wipers on when heading to the field, adding moisture just like a rain to canola swaths.

      Don't give up Blueversi.

2009 is an example of a terrible October but a pleasant surprise in November.

I think a rain +2 to +7C temperatures will melt snow in 10 days.

Snow forecast for tomorrow here....may as well get it out of it's system now before it does dry enough to give the guys a chance at it and snow or rain at that time...its no where close to being harvestable right now anyway.
