Rock bottom did happen in the 80s after high prices. Unfortunately it took lots down when it happened. Equipment costs and land and the USA and Europe went on a save the farmer campaign and canada did shit all.
It lasted till 2008.

So there was a "save the farmer campaign" in Europe through the 80's? must have missed that - or maybe not seeing as how there was no land price crash or agricultural reset in Europe in the 80's. You just make up the facts as you go along.

Tillage, SMF or burning black may be to answer to our disease problems, as distasteful as that may sound. The fields burnt black this spring grew beautiful lentils that stayed standing because roots and stems weren't infected. So what's so bad about a burn now and then? The ash may have disinfrctant qualities too, like adding ash to garden soil and the green bounty of Hawaii, soils laden with ash. So get your head out of your ash!
