Had just posted a thread which I now deleted, I have said a person might get punched this year announcing they were done harvest. Cant believe its going to rain in parts of sk yet again. Good grief. When they say keep you're head up I think its so you do not drown. Good luck guys not done yet here but will get there as canola got dry yesterday and we have a positive week ahead or so it looks.

Definitely the longest stretch of overcast days I have ever experienced. Too cold to melt anything and too warm to freeze anything. We do get this weather but usually we are finished and doing fieldwork etc.
I just tell myself I wanted to be farmer l, if I dont like this, get a job and see if its better. My fantasy default was always to run off and make a fortune in the oilfields of Alberta. No so much anymore!

Drew's forecast wasn't as intense as what I see coming on the radar..... Actually Environment Canada's forecast looks to be more accurate with this system/event.

You gotta wonder if "its" over.... Good weather in long term forecasts seems to be dashed by changes in short term forecasts of rain or poor drying conditions. I guess time will tell

Oddly enough I would welcome a rain to melt snow out of canola swaths and from my flat wheat.

Overall a weird harvest.....shaping up a lot like 1958 and harvest finished November 5th that year in NE Sask.

ght for us. Radar ugly-ugly-ugly. A field of Canola left but lots of tough Canola to deal with.vNext year cut her green. We'd have had it all in the bin.

Nice shower, just in time for football game. That ought to make it enjoyable.

Parked her fat ars right over us for the whole afternoon. Lots of moisture for next year. And the lentil fields are still growing fixing nitrogen like forty bears.

hopes it rains to melt the snow.
I understand where you are coming from, but I'd hate to be having to hope for that.

Hope ma nature who's decided to be mother in law nature this year relaxes and let's you get it yet.

No end to optimism here - grrr, especially when you see 60% chance showers on Thursday. Ever see gumbo soup?
