Trump is here,We already have liars in politics.

Today out ag minister announced no disaster aid for flooded farms because we have all these programs.
Are these not the same programs that you and apesass said did not work for family farms a few months ago.

Tell me how the f crop insurance is going to compensate anyone when crop is left out this fall?

Tell me how anyone other than the cheaten losers are going to get anything out of agri instability when apes ass admitted it as well as your own office and if by some miracle you did qualify what f good will it be for most next year?

Is Wally going to crawl on his knees for the farmers of this province like he did for be oil patch? Because the losses all of us in our area is 10,20, 30 maybe 100 times more than anyone in the patch has lost.

The potential Agristability "liability" was too big to ignore....therefore they gutted it..... a year like this could have cost them dearly. Because we're not in crop Insurance we decide to stay in Agristability and consider the enrollment fee a contribution to the government matching portion of our AgInvest...lol.

I never want to see a year so bad that AgStab benefits would be appreciated....because it would be a real ****in bad year if that ever happens. I guess we are almost on our own until we're out of equity.

Tweety....more like "Indusrty" welfare....Producers are only the conduit used to deliver and distribute it. Ad hoc will probably only be considered when the rest of the industy "players" start feeling the pinch...until then continue to borrow against your equity till you have it all transferred to everyone else....or cash out before then.

          Farmaholic

Some guys think they can individually compete their farm against the US Federal treasury.

And like you just said ... will blow their or their forefathers equity doing it.

Meanwhile the American farmers will grow an 175 bpa corn crop and get a cheque from their government.

Fair....nope ....but they are not stupid about the value of the farmer in the states.

Meanwhile a jerkoff in Ottawa will ask us to pay to make us less competitive than we already are.

The mississippi, the interstate system and better rail in the states are going to force us to grow cattle and walk them to US slaughterhouses.

Just wait until Nebraska realizes lentils can be grown there and make more money than corn.....on their pivots.

And watching the news today ....Bombardier has gotten a billion from the Quebec government....1.5 billion from the caise du Quebec. ...and garneau hasn't turned down the possibility of a billion from the federal government and they are laying off another 7500 people. ...

Do farmers need a little help.....probably more so than bombardier...

Think commodity prices, along with government payments and taxes, are bid into land costs.
For many years, land costs and values have been higher just across the border in U.S.
Does not necessarily follow that farming is more profitable in one country or the other.
Currency values, interest rates and other input costs also complicate things.
