    Saturday rain....

.63 of an inch. Fog this morning. At least water isn't accumulating in the fields but the yard looks like it rained over an inch. Poorly maintained municipal roads(lack of grading and gravel) are a greasy mess.

This is getting scary for guys with lots out yet. Possible showers next Thursday. Drying conditions are poor...average temps, lack of sun some days and days are short. Everything is saturated here now.

How much snow remains in areas that got lots?

Guys went here Friday but said it was slow going....

    This is bizarre already!

...obviously average temps was a poor description....when I was thinking of needing "above" average to counter the incessant moisture.

      Check your personal "massages" 101...

Might start parking equipment as this shit is getting me down. Two F#$King days in the month of October to harvest. Now daily get videos and emails of guys trying to harvest 27% moisture Canola and think aeration is answer.

Sickening October, one sunny and nine cloudy cold days forecast for us. Zero days, zero desire.
Our temp chart would be colder, but yes way below average, can't wait for climate to change for COLDER, Liberal assholes!

27% moisture. I can't imagine. Very bad situation. There is just too much moisture around. I'm resigned to the idea the end of October is going to bring down the curtain on this sorry harvest around here.

Im just saying the texts and Emails and Comments on Facebook mean guys are getting desperate. Hell I have 1.8 mill out in the field and Im sick of this shit.

              People are worried and scared.

A dryer will take 20% moisture down done twice. to put away safe any thing above is useless.

Best is 16 or less and one app.

Luckily our partially standing canola is testing around 13 but we have only been able to combine from around 1 pm to 7pm.

Prosko's moved down here to combine for a neighbor, theirs is testing around 18-20.

Taking 21 wheat yesterday and today. Showers expected tomorrow.
                  Swathing ahead of rig.
Area swaths still have snow in em.
Every acre a gift, I guess.

Doesn't everyone remember the October forecast from Accu-weather I posted on Sept 29(pg.7) Over a 1000 views, but only 2 comments. Doubters???
It showed only two or three days that might be good for combining, showed snow and frequent days with showers, and well below temps. Forecast has been holding pretty well.

When do those holidays END? Same with the Hoar frost /Fog from 6 months ago...right on so far.
Therefore rain in late April counting from today!

From what I can tell, November 1. I asked my 91 year old mother who still knows what's up and she says she thinks it is about 1 month, so I googled it and this year that seems plausible, so thumbs up for Indian Summer starting Nov 1. If the darn snow stays away, there's still light at the end of the tunnel.
