I've been hearing the dollar will go to 1.20. Not sure now with stimulus and a possible rate cut in Canada

            CAD trending lower.
Best case 74.7-75.8 by Dec 31. 73.7 is possible.
Anything over 76 cents at yearend would be positive.

              I think...

If Trump wins the USA dollar will tank relative to all other currencies (Trump gets business ) the Canadian dollar will go up because Trudeau doesn't understand uh, uh, or know what to do. Other countries will perceive Canada to be less risky than USA so foreigners will buy Canadian dollar there fore it goes up.

No one can predict how high or low, that's like predicting oil or gold pricing.

Hillary will provoke war and Trump won't, should be interesting.

What would happen to commodities, grains?

Either way it's a war, currency war or drones and bombs. Who does China side with?

Actually the price of gold is very easy, its like a 5000 year old thing,in terms of a countries fx value there is a hard formula for that to.

My math shows-IT DOESNT ****ING MATTER WHO WINS-please show me yours where it does

                Per person government expenditures?

                Current tax rates?

                Interest rates?

Its over-we are done-we are ****ed-look at the god damn numbers.

Anyone think well gee zero percent interest rate is gee golly things will get better eventually, things will be ok some day-well wake up princess, you aint in Kansas anymore

Sometimes i seriously feel like that one guy on the titanic who seen the iceberg hit and thought wow this can't be good and then went downstairs and understood the math on the different compartments filling up with water, then i put my wife and kids and the first boat out, give them all a kiss goodbye, head to the bar bye the best single malt money can by and listen to the band.

There is no way out there is no solution, your all in denial, your like terminal cancer patients, ill be ok ill get through ill fight and win,no sorry honey you should have been eating your apricot seeds along time before this, you are ****ed and you will die

Cotton. What happens when everyone justs decides to change the rules? If everyone is screwed as you say they can all just decide to say we are not screwed and that's that.

If everyone in the world is on fiat, and they are all juicing their economies with tons of fake $$$ then all is well. This charade will go on for a long time yet. Why should it stop? The truth is the US remains the reserve currency and there is not a viable alternative on the horizon. China was looking ok but in the past year they are having trouble and their currency is sucking. So called SDRs are just another melting pot of fiat, so that won't catch on anytime soon.

If things get bumpy the US dollar will rally it is the safe haven...nothing else. As the average guy on the street if he would rather have $1000 cash or an ounce of gold...I bet 99/100 grab the cash.

More on topic, I don't see the election having a major impact on the exchange rate if Clinton wins, if trump wins the US dollar will rally.

If Trump wins and defaults on the debt. ... not sure I can get my head around the ramifications.

Global commodity deflation is keeping gold bulls well in-check.

What could support both crude oil and the loonie is fallout in the USD as the U.S. recession deepens in 2017. American manufacturing, exports and transportation sectors are now all in-contraction.
