So apparently during certain times of the year Islamic people make a dish out of whole wheat much like the Ukrainian version (eaten at Christmas can't rember what it's called... milk poppy seeds and whole wheat)

Had a contact from Kuwait who heard of us somehow ask if we can supply whole wheat that is "gently pounded"

Apparently if you run cleaned 24% wheat thru a roller mill with smooth rolls and a big gap then dry it down you have what they are looking for.


Interesting what markets are our there...

I have a 10 X 20 inch heavy Peerless PTO roller mill...but unfortunately it's rollers are grooved. We don't use it since we're out of cattle.

I believe this is Bulgur. I know of at least one individual that has looked into making a mill for this in the west, for export to the middle east

Bulgur is made from durum.


Haleem is made from red wheat.


We sent samples and they are now having them assessed. MY contact figures our process is sound and it tastes "very good".


I guess we will see.


I figure after all costs we would be left with $32/bushel. have to bag it in 20kg bags.


The more grain we can get rid of in this manner the more profit we make and the less gets taken by the value chain.

Is grade of wheat a factor? How about specs for vomi, FN etc?

It sounds like your going after a cracked wheat market then. Good on you , the more we can find value added uses for wheat I can more than a commoditized bulk product.

cotton latest health kick or craze is hemp milk. Ive done zero research and its not for stoners.
Similar to almond milk etc

we only use almond milk because there is just more good stuff in it,like the vitamin b complex,just a little better then cows milk which is fine unless you don't have that enzyme in your tummy to break it down and then your lactose intolerant

ASSuming hemp is similar in a milk state,but don't know,its just a supieor food,maybe chia or quinoa is better but we don't grow that stuff

the vacuum is one of two things,the states made it legal and the politics of hemp is gone

it will crash in price as supply/demand/cost bla,bla,bla level the field,but man the next year or two.....of course i may be wrong

Canola on canola stubble is way easier money. Next year canola on lentil stubble, and lentils on canola stubble, retire a multi millionaire.
