Whilst im posting non marketing threads.....

How much alcohol do we all consume can fib if you want how do I know if you've got your fingers crossed.

In my youth say 18 to 25 beer lots of it mostly Saturday nights some Friday nights amount consumed depended upon if I got lucky with local or non local ladies no luck with women buy a box of beer with your mates you all know the story.

25 to 40 your hardest working years in theory cut back on the booze.

Nowadays at 52 maybe 2 beers on a Saturday arvo while watching junior play sport but mostly one or two glasses of red wine each night and when guest come around more is consumed.

Not a whiskey drinker or bourbon but don't mind gin or occasional vodka.

The wildest drink I ever had was actually in western Canada Strasbourg cold wet snowy first thing in the morning before we headed out to do chores here peter have a belt of this knock it back quick, hands me a glass holy shit what was that I thought......... probably banned in Canada now, and he was quick to add only cowboys and fwit bikers drink this stuff... I'm sure you will guess I'm sure it could start a campfire

As with anything, moderation is key. Alot of us drank enough in our youth to make up for slowing down in our later years.

Seems like a "rite of passage"!

None now but had enough in a decade when younger to last a lifetime. I find Canada to be less of a drinking culture than the UK was. Drinking to the point of passing out two nights every weekend is the norm there from teenager to late 20s. Farm community is probably worse than average in that respect too. Seems the norm if everyone else is doing it.

Single people no matter the age, probably drink more than married. Bored, lonely males congregate.
Bad habits started young...... I live far far too close to town. If I had an average?? 16 ozs/week??
Set a date for kickin darts again. Will have to abstain booze and coffee for a while!

                  Weed like trudeau! Ha HA!

No really, now its more like two ice cold ones after supper or two glasses of red wine and thats it.

Gave up on the Rum and Rye and Vodka a long time ago.

Kirkland vodka every now or then but mostly then.

On holidays i like a Ice Cold Beer a few times a day.

Every thing kills you but for some reason my old aunt lived to 101 drinking in moderation and eating perogies and cabbage rolls plus lots of soup. Go figure.

If we knew when we all were checking out what fun would that be.

Moderation, But don't drink and drive!

The thing about beer is that you never own it - you just rent it!

Rum drinker, probably average once a week 4-5 drinks. One thing that caught my eye and it is off topic, quite a few of us on Agriville are in our early fifties. I am 52, it just seemed like a bit of a random occurance but is probably more a reflection of the average age of farmers.

Have to support Metcalf and Copeland prices somehow.
