Just completed the 64th year, been working at farming for 50 years, is that long enough?
Took that CPP before one gets a death sentence disease. Need to collect to get some premiums back!
Neighbor dying and might not make 65! Think hard about farming forever. Wife was born in 64, correct a good year, she is wonderful to put up with me!

You're only as old as you think you are....until your body tells or reminds you otherwise!
At that point you start listening to your body more, doubting your mind and youth-like energy, ambition and intentions.
Sobering to know I've probably crested the hill and started coming down the other side! When I look back....I hope the last "part", because I don't know how long it will last, doesn't go by as fast as the first!
Take care....

49 er here. Sort of in the middle years and just looking over the cliff. We have been fortunate also to be blessed with good health, hard-working genes and awesome kids who keep us in the game. Oh, I shouldn't forget those Agrivillers who meet several times a day. Just wanna say, it's great to have Agriville, just turn on the Ipad and find out, "What's up!"

You have to wonder if life expectancy of the current and future generations will actually decrease from the previous one's(our parents and grandparents)?
Can modern "medicine" overcome the ills that plague modern society. Our forefathers probably lived a "cleaner" lifestyle that was also simpler but harder.....Last edited by farmaholic; Nov 1, 2016, 06:49.
