now getting heavier again. Won't matter how nice the rest of the week is like, we're finished. Water and mud everywhere, looks worse than fall of 2010. Not sure whether any more field work can be done working in this amount of mud. Freeze up two weeks away now. This farm over a hundred years, and the first time we'll have crop out over winter. Being this far south, and still having crop out is unfathomable. Went to final Taylor field game Sat., couldn't believe all the crop ou all the way along. Mostly flax, but lots of soybeans, durum, canary, swathed canola and swathed wheat? or durum?. Even one field of what looked like peas.
Majority of the rain is staying south of Hwy #13, although it does drift north of there at times, but not as far north as Hwy #1
It's a real soaker, most any other time, it would have been regarded at a great rain for next year.
