Come to think of it; Ritchie Bros does offer "guarantees" to sellers. So the seller isn't really at mercy of auction fans waiting to get a super bargain on big ticket items.
Seemed to me that the Redlands equipment all went for serious money. But then 500,000 to 700,000 per piece when new makes most wonder why anyone but the "major players" are considering continuing in the business. Didn't see much equipment sold over the internet to US destinations.
