Whatever standing hemp is left is going through. Seed is around 17% mc.
Possibly finish the hemp then move to whatever is left standing of the faba beans. A little bit every day. Its fascinating how we went from full out threshing and checking behind the combine for losses to collect whatever you can considering the circumstances.
It went from "when this field is done we will move to the next one" to " if we can fill a small truck today without any drama/fire that would be a real tangible accomplishment.

Went yesterday (we are south of Yorkton) canola started off the chart. Needle wouldn't bounce. Did enough to fill wet bin for dryer and one other bin. Already rotating that bin to be safe. By the end of the day at 100 the needle was at about the halfway spot on tester. Today has come down all day almost down to 78 on tester at 16 degrees which is high fourteens. That now seems dry lol. What a year. Very thankful for weather though.

18C and windy here, just awesome. Got going yesterday tough but today we actually did a bin of dry wheat. First dry grain of 2016! Calling for chance of showers in am hopefully not.

Had the same thought as Hobby. Usually out throwing a pan under the combine and changing as need be. Haven't even looked this year.

        Good luck to all.

Tomorrow will be throw up the cap day and say Thank you for good weather. Good Luck all, this week looks like we could do another 1000 acres, but wanna? - no thanx!

small patch of late swathed thin canola , was 10.5 and jumped to 12.5
                if the swath got heavy.

tried week ago swathed wheat, yesterday it was 24.
never tried today , wonder how much drop we could expect with this weather?

What we call jap pavement is heavily calciumed secondary roads which are supposed to make cheap alternative ashphalt, was a disaster 40 years ago and my fearless county was sucked into it again.

Down to 12 quarters left to go. Might actually get dry tomorrow. Boy would that be nice, no more grain drying.
