Wow...unbelievable! Mother Nature makes the rules. Is it happening in pature land too or is the bank unstable because of grain farming?
At first sight it looked like a burned area....probably too wet for much to burn there.Last edited by farmaholic; Nov 7, 2016, 12:41.

Good luck harvesting the canola in the bottom there. Wonder if that is an insurable cause of loss? We have a disaster here as well but not quite as bad as that. After rain on Sunday it has to dry like crazy tomorrow or else we are not going to get the rest of the harvest. Some fields in the swath for the last 40 days are too moldy to bother with now.

Agree AJL , that rain yesterday and heavy fog this morning was very bad timing amongst this "Indian summer "

Hmm. I think last Time soil was sinking like that was when the Mexicans were tunnelling under the Tijuana border. Might want to look into that...

Im sure that only happens only every few hundered years. Wonder what will happen if we keep getting more and more rain. Kind of a scary thought.
