Your judge for this contest, Mr. Phil Shaw, was awarded an Emmy by the Academy of Arts and Sciences, and is smart and witty and has travelled the world. He is pouring over your song entries as I write this, listening to your choices while sucking up the Arizona sun.

For those who spent the weekend sunbathing in Prairie's November sunshine, you have until Monday nite at midnight to post your favourite tune. Phil will spend Tuesday choosing the winner.

The winner will be announced on this site, (excluding my tune posted amongst the mix because I have undue influence...).

I'll have the winner's prize in the mail next week. What an interesting variety of songs! Pars

Pars - what a small world - how did you connect with my near-neighbor (on a national scale) Phil Shaw?!

We'll 'make do'. Farmers know how to make do. Make up. Make out.

Just glad to have the website on which to post them. Pars.

Thanks so much to Phil Shaw for judging all the material. I know he listened to them, and sounded as if he was enjoying them.
It sounded as if internet server was giving him problems today so I got the results by phone.

This contest is officially closed. Thanks all

Thanks so much Parsley and Phil. Being from Northeast Sask where we have had endless rain with almost yearly flooding ever since 2004 "Who will stop the rain" runs through my head all the time. I'm quite sure both CaseIH, Freewheat and most farmers in this area will agree.

Thanks Parsley, fun stuff. I listened to everyone's entry as well. I can appreciate any style of good music but only listen to certain stuff.
