She was a opportunist who now thinks that the NDP are the way. Most people figured she was a die hard liberal who ran for the conservatives just to get elected. Now she thinks the NDP is the way.

She will lose her seat and be done with politics the next time round.

Danielle Smith hosts a conservative talk radio program. Yesterday it was mostly about the defection. Boy are people pissed, as would I be if the person I voted for did an about face like that. Quite the betrayal. There were a couple callers that put a few digs in on Danielle as they called in too. For you out of province people she was the Wild rose leader and her a and a few others crossed the floor just before the last election. I believe that we would have not ended up with the NDP and she would have been premier if she didn't jump ship.

I sure hope the young people and Edmonton government workers wake up and pay attention next time. Democracy as we know it is a broken system.

I'm worried the conservatives are gonna screw it up again by going overboard on issues they can't win. The 2 big ones they won't seem to let go are anti abortion and Lgtbq rights. Neither impress me either but to make them the big issue is only gonna overshadow all the economic issues and divide would be conservatives into other parties.

I agree that we will be running provincial government defecits. We (the citizens) are just practicing the art of distraction. We will look and talk about about how severe it is "over there" until the the discomfort sets in "over here".
