do the people on here that think it is a conspiracy. think that nothing should be done?
just burn it all. no hedging your bets. just in case they are right.

the only circumstance that would make sense not to try is if you think
something else is going to get us first.

and it is possible

a virus, or a nuclear winter from any number of causes , ( an asteroid strike ,
nuclear war, volcanic eruption,) or artificial intelligence gets carried away and wipes us out.

or for some religions , assured that the end time is coming soon , i can see why it would not matter to them, everything but them will burn up anyway. (so why bother cutting emissions)

Saw fly what Im trying to say is that if you are a country that has over a 100 years of Coal left and third largest holder of Oil and gas in the world plus nuclear why in the world would you want to kill those industries before all the bugs are out of the new Green movement creations.

Do like the chinese when they see a product that works take pictures steal plans higher workers etc and build the thing cheaper.

Plus why in the world would Canada who produces piss all for Carbon and has more land that no one lives on as a huge sink thats trees and lakes etc want to be the first boy scouts to drop oil when the rest of the world s big players are saying that this is bullshit and lets move one till its perfected.

Really he isn't a genius but a mad scientist who has no clue whats a real job and real peoples lives.

This carbon tax scheme will make the poor really poor. and the middle class move down to poor.

Its a tax and a job killer. If the USA isn't going that way it is simply idiotic for little canada to even contemplate a Carbon tax.
