    Did anyone notice??

So I read grasses articles. And ive tryed halfheartedly to read chucks.
Ever notice how the same article can read slightly different for different folks?
We read aloud in our mind, And we use the inflection that suits us.
If we read well enough we can feel what attitude the author is trying to project.
Removal of all words not pertaining to the 5Ws? Can we do that. Makes a lot of print not news or facts.
Now we can begin to recognize patterns inthe authors' message. For or against.
They are people too, but also need to make a living. As humans we all have a biased ear.

    Now here's another problem.
Have we noticed the change in tone of what we read and hear lately?
Anyone with any questions is quickly dismissed as a Denier. It is the latest pronoun.
The words other than the 5ws carry the feeling the Deniers of today are the same as the Holocaust deniers of yesterday for example. Claiming full licence on righteousness loudly before really saying anything else.

So, when reading or listening, try to ask yourself the 5ws. Try to ask yourself; "Is this a novel, a poem, an editorial or speech? Or is this news or a textbook or encyclopedia or dictionary? Who is speaking and what else is he trying to say?
I am afraid we are losing our ability to tell the difference.

Finally, as this is about liberty and free speech.
We all have the right to speak and rebutt here as we choose.
Grass and chuck can cut and paste at will. They choose to eventually be smug and righteous.
It is our choice how intelligently or pointedly we respond. Often a struggle, I should know. They are experts on trying the patience. Animosity is a justifier. Who'se getting paid here?
The denial im guilty of may be telling myself ive heard enough. Only my inner compass keeps telling me it walks and sounds like a duck. We can become numb.

I am a poor writer, but please everyone, keep smelling the wind, and keep hollering Bullshit! when necessary.

True journalism is dead imho. Few facts or facts that only portrait one side of the story. If a politician actually did something good how would u actually know by listening to CBC, CNN, NBC, Fox, etc. They all have there marching orders. Which I believe are to help create there own policy by never entering the political arena.
I believe they started out believing the were representing the little guy, the man without a voice, the special interest group that know one listened to. Then somewhere they changed themselves into a propaganda machine that only benefitted there agenda not what was right or wrong. There is no way someone with years of education (which most of these reporters have plenty of) can honestly look at themselves in a mirror and say that every time they work on a story the are representing the facts only, not an opinion.
How does this teach our children to think? I always tell my kids not to believe everything u hear, see or read. Think first, research the facts presented then make your own conclusion. Your not robots. God gave u a lump 3 feet above your ass so use it. I wish the media outlets practiced this. We would definitely resolve problems in a more civil manner.

yeah I've noticed. They call us deniers because it's a cult, they had too much kool-aid and they can't speak anything other then what the Bible says. They also are hypocrites, they are just better at deflecting. Tolerance only applies when they get their way otherwise it's $15/hour and go break shit. Ironically they are hoping for the same outcome, system failure or reset, just with different outcome. They want to be the elite this time around. I'm watching these upcoming European elections, if the establishment gets the punt there's a major trend change happening. We are either going hard right or harder left.

You make some good points blackpowder, social media is changing how society communicates and not generally for the better I think. The only thing I think you should reflect on is that it cuts both ways. Chuckchuck and I are not the only people to cut and paste (I rarely do, I usually post a link to the article) here. I'd say it's your perception that we "choose to be smug and righteous". It feels to me that those of us with the minority view on many issues here are subjected to an unfair barrage of abuse too - from being called stupid, on drugs, communist, socialist, an immigrant etc etc. As you say as humans we all have a biased ear.

Seabass you are bang on. Notice the headlines of false news? When they don't control the media they want to eliminate it. Follow the money.... love the fact Trump uses YouTube and twitter he gets the message out without the twist. No arguing what he said.
