    Comtrax....bratrud....could we hear more

This seems like an exciting opportunity.

I would like to know more ....not sure I can make the meetings....or use it but I get the sense farmers in that area are ahead of the curve.

    Have a couple if questions....

    1. I like the idea of a hub. Will it be like a warehouse where endusers can look at product and order? If it is could a farmer pay a fee to warehouse his bags of cleaned mustard seed instead of bulking it to a middleman?

As an example if I pay for infrared color sorting and get my product bagged ...why do I need the middleman? Why can't a group of us use a logistics hub to market it? The customer shows up... buys it and it's put in motion for a fee at this hub. ...can that be part of it?

    2. Can I deliver to it and leave with a check if I am using the bulk side? Can I just start bypassing the line cos?

Yesterday I called a 100 mile radius to deliver a spot load of canola....no one was buying and half of them were plugged (although they did ask who was calling...might have impacted their response..lol)

That means 250000 tonnes are currently stuck on the prairies within 100 miles of the farm.

    3. Is 60000 tonnes large enough?

If farmers get on board it won't be.

    4. Would belle Plaine be a better location linked with the scandal ridden GTH nearby? Container shipping? Centralized. ..better chance of farmer numbers?

Many questions for mbratrud but congratulations on the work you have done.

👉Storing farmers grain has been considered, At this time selling or leasing storage to farmers isn't in the plans. Producer Condo storage is heavily subsidized and usually undelivers to producers expectations.

As far as the rest of your thoughts, that is the idea we want to create opportunities for commodity marketing. We want to give producers and originators access to handling and transportation infrastructure. We can't promise that it will be everything to everyone. But the culture of the company will be anything is possible.

Where we see producer condo storage working might be in a large fertilizer facility but let's not get ahead of ourselves...

👉 Think of our project like a shopping mall. The loop and rail infrastructure is the mall with several merchants doing different things and the Grain Facility is the food Court with several Vendors (Grain originators). We will align this farmer owned company with reputable companies and would expect they would producing checks upon delivery.

We hope the fact that we are servicing more than one grain company, and the efficiency benefits or our facility and rail infrastructure shipping will be improved.

Can't promise new facilty will never be plugged, 😬

    3. Is 60000 tonnes large enough?

If farmers get on board it won't be.

👉 It will be built to suit needs, and potential commercial partners will have influence on that. If we have 500 farmers on board and commercial interest is big. Can't rule out much larger facility but 60000 tonnes is based on the needs build 3 134 car trains for 3 different companies for 3 different commodities and still have some compactly to deal with odd ball stuff.

    4. Would belle Plaine be a better location linked with the scandal ridden GTH nearby? Container shipping? Centralized. ..better chance of farmer numbers?

👉 Honestly the exact location is still flexible. Although the primary focus is somewhere along 39 and the Sooline close to the oil field. If it was just grain we would be leaning towards Regina. Land is cheaper down here! What would it cost to build at GTH?

We are bringing this to farmers early enough we will be taking their support and input into consideration when final plans are made.

Hope I answered your questions. We have a lot of work to do. Farmer support is critical, there is no hidden agenda, the only people lining their pockets will be all the investors.

This is a group of farmers thst wants to build something to benefit farmers, and help their community and Sasktachewan by building another cog in a gear of the economic engine!

I would really like to have a place to send clean grain that an end user could have easy access to.

I would pay a fee to have it accessible to transportation. Why? Because my farm doesn't produce enough on its own to stand alone but if 60 guys have their product available in one spot the costs go down for both of us and the the end user. Logistics become easier.
