I just read an article on the Financial post's website which talks about the fact that by 2022 Ontario and Quebec through their cap and trade system they will be paying half as much for a tonne of carbon as we will in western Canada. Because their system is linked to California's it appears that in 2022 when Alberta and BC and Saskatchewan are paying 50 dollars a tonne Ontario and Quebec will be paying as low as 24 dollars a tonne. The usual federal Liberal way, screw the west.

It sure would be nice to see a few of the earth muffins try to go one week without petroleum in -30C.
Just bikes, for transportation, only solar or wind power to heat their homes (no coal power backup allowed because it's dirty?!).
We will even let them use their IPhone which was made with oil.
No jet fuel or diesel allowed to travel to watch St. Suzuki and Reverend Gore preach at a "climate conference" in a tropical destination.

try to heat this place with just geo thermal and wind, oh its blowing today and solar.
