Parsley, I'll get a couple of the packages of Halvah and send them to you... in appreciation of the things you sent me.

Today I cooked our black eyed peas for new years. - for good luck. We are part Uk and part French so we like Tortiere and buckwheat cabbage rolls and perogies (all types) Ukrainian Coop sausage, wheat with honey and poppy seed, pickled herring, and this year plum pudding with maple butter sauce for dessert. Yep, no baking without butter and whipping cream, but we've noticed that the butter ain't what it used to be. Have you tried head cheese Parsley? Mom used to make it from pigs feet, but it's called head cheese should have been called toe cheese maybe. Can't wait as our awesome son and his great wife host Xmas eve for about 28 of us. He only has 3 jobs and three kids but only too happy to make Xmas the most memorable as we have two 92 year olds still with us. Parsley, you and John can come on down and test our concoctions.

Sumdum. Your menu is enticing. I love headcheese ... with a drizzle of vinegar on top. And pickled pigs feet are a emotional tradition for me. Would love to come and founder on your perogies. Did I ever tell you I make perogi dough with mashed potatoes? But I rice potatoes before I add them to the dough... I cal them Swedish perogies...! Maybe we can finally make it to your cottage next summer. Thx for the invite. Pars
