Geez...you just never know, do you!
Just had an ECG, stress test and echo cardiogram yesterday. Made it about 20 seconds into the fifth stage of a six stage stress test. That's basically where the treadmill speed and incline is about the equivalent of running uphill. Each stage lasts three minutes and each stage the incline and speed increases. Hard to get to the end when each stage is progressively harder and you're tiring out from the previous stages.
My family Dr. ordered it out of the blue....no early indications from me or symptoms....just "elevated" cholesterol levels for the last decade or so...and apparently new guidelines to assess risk of coronary heart disease based on blood test (lipid panel).
No guarantees but I do try to eat healthy and get exercise....but...."no guarantees".
Take care....of your body, you only get one and it has to last your lifetime.

I have been doing a lot of Internet grinding about hemp seed oil. Now that you have all the proper medical assessment and scientifically measured benchmark by a real doctor, I suggest taking 2 tablespoons of hemp seed oil a day until your next big visit to the doctor.
You can find hemp seed oil in the refrigerator/cooler at Sangsters, or Dad's organic or online stores like Amazon. It tastes like sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds. It would take about 2 -500ml bottles to get through a month. The only side effect is that hemp seed oil thins the blood, just in case you are already on blood thinners this would be bad.
What ever oil is left on the spoon, rub onto cuts or dry spots on your hands and watch that disappear as well.
This is a long read but it explains why hemp food is extremely beneficial for the human diet.
What I find most fascinating is the fact that this comes straight from the seeds of the plant. Nothing fancy just hemp seeds, nothing to see here, move along!!!

I went for a proper physical checkup in summer, I checked out ok for cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar etc. I told the doctor I eat hemp seeds every day. He said "what is hemp". I said seeds from the cannabis sativa plant. He said " cannabis? oh , no, you should not eat cannabis".
My niece is a track and field athlete at the University of Toronto. Her coach told her to immediately stop eating hemp foods for risk of a failed drug test.
I like to provide 3 opinions......for balance. One organic hemp farmer, and two authourities. You are free to choose.

I do like eating hemp daily and I think it is extremely beneficial. I also understand if I eat right, have regular exercise, and sleep well, eventually I too will perish!
