Every Christmas I get the Almanac!! First thing I check out is the long range weather predictions, like most farmers would do. Firstly, they have been dead on for Nov and Dec, very cold and a lot of snow in SE Sk. First part of Jan and Feb show very cold conditions.
Going on into spring and summer shows another wet yr, with cool temps. There will be some hotter days, but on the whole it says cool and wet.
Time will tell what happens, but a lot of areas are saturated now. We are fortunate with excellent moisture going into spring, nothing excessive.
