I really like the direction of the WCWG these days. They are bringing to light issues that affect all producers. My understanding is they are funded mainly by annual membership fees. If your not a member you should seriously consider it. There are check off funded groups with thousands of times more money to work with that are doing nothing for producers.
Why are our commodity check off groups not speaking out against the carbon tax?

Meanwhile farmers are taking a beating on wheat grading (fus, vomi) and now down to very minimal if any net returns .
This drain of farmers money is becoming sickening.

Interesting. ...I don't technically own the grain after I open my semi slides at the elevator but the money collected at the west coast by the CGC is my responsibility. ....but when a guy asks for a basis based on Vancouver prices because we also pay the freight there ....I am out to lunch and wrapped in foil....

If Sask Power or Revenue Canada inadvertently over charges us that sum it put on account and taken off next billing until it is used up. In the mean time corrections to billing are made so it doesn't happen again. The same thing could be done with the Rail overage and CGC inspection over charges.
Better hire a 3rd party to do AG financing obviously neither CPC or Lib's can figure it out.

"Good thing under Yerry's watch the buildup wasn't detected.....funny thing how it comes to light now...with a good old self pat on the back by the wheat growers.... '
So true Bucket, that $100 million wasn't just created in 16 months, all was quiet from Wheat Grower when The Cracker was in charge. WCWG were a one trick pony, best before date expired on Aug /2012!
