Klause how high is the fusarium and vomitoxin hurdle you have to clear? Lower than the local terminal specs?

How much of an issue does the buyer make it?

Depends greatly. Some buyers don't care some are very strict to 1ppm. One I've shipped a container to needed it to have no visible fusariun but didn't care on vomi.


For feed the people I sell to probably don't even know what it is but we follow the cfia guidelines and have it tested... don't need the liability of sick animals.

Interestingly we had some wheat was 0.8 fuz 1.3 vomi after grinding it was only 0.9 vomi and it was a very small batch like 100 bu or so
