Wonder how many times it has to be said, preharvest is listed as a weed control, nothing to do with "killing" the wheat for straight cutting. It is already stopped growing if sprayed at correct time, 30% Mt.
As for weed control POST harvest works better. Don't care if banned, might be healthier for all.

I don't know why we are even having this discussion. How long have scientists had the ability to test for residue? -(Either pre-harvest and mid-season does or does not leave a residue for the end user's concern.)

If there is chemical residue detected, it doesn't really come down to what "scientists" and food safety experts say is safe, its the end users perception that is ultimately important. I personally fear a backlash at some point and the pre-harvest is going to be reason for the backlash. Then we won't even have Roundup for pre-burn, I suspect. The big-acre guys would have a really tough time without Roundup.

Exactly, glyphosate is a very important and even necessary tool. If we continue to use it in a manner which our consumers and society don't agree with, we risk losing use of it completely, or it becoming over regulated. Just because we can doesn't always mean we should. If consumers revolt and regulators over react and we loose all use of glyphosate, where does that leave no-till practices?

Maybe the CGC can spend our $100M on the next hot trending pro ag media star.
          Dr Oz has made millions.

Anyway, fall glyphosate =Roundup = MonSatan.

Preharvest herb might be banned but how would that screw the no till boys. I have never preharvest herbed my wheat or mustard and always straight cut. It wouldnt bother me one bit if they banned roundup preharvest herb.

Here, one of three things has to kill the crop. Frost, steel, or spray. We'll find another chem.
Or dry it I guess. #keeptheswather

It wouldn't matter if it was pure distilled water coming out of that sprayer.
Its sprayers period that are being targeted.
