I think everyone should be armed at all times. That way even if you suspect that the guy next door looks like he might be a thief or a terrorist or a liberal you can take him out before he takes you out. That will ensure that we live in a safer, peaceful country!

There are so many ways to respond to chuck, I'm at a brief loss.
When I read posts here I often visualize the speaker though we've never met.
When I read chucks posts, I visualize that kid in school whose voice got high, shrill, and nasal when pointing his finger at you while he tried to make his point.
By now you've figured out my hobby. And I've figured out chucks. Being the Loki socialist.
The beginning of thread is titled scared. Some are worried of physical harm, some, rights infringements.
We are blessed where we live. Most people will never see a sidearm let alone ever feel a need for one. Most of us will not be murdered or mugged. Most of us dont want anything to do with firearms period. We are so blessed.
Blessed that the vast majority of Canadians can live free of harm or access to lethal tools.
Blessed even more that I can safely and legally pursue an anachronistic hobby.
One that, because of our species' nature, will occasionally have profound relevance.
