Err no it's not actually - these people had all served under both Republican and Democrat administrations. Did you perhaps get your information from Sean Spicer - Trump's own version of "comical Ali"?
Here Spicer congratulates the Onion for a tweet it made, clearly without having read or understood the words used and knowing the Onion is a satirical site. Must be comforting for Trump surrounding himself with other fellow intellectuals.

It would be interesting to know how many of these hysterical critics of Trump's EO have locks on their doors. Or if they leave their keys in the ignition. And why.

Or are their door locks selective, keeping out only the known bad guys.

Or if their door locks contribute to a rigid entry/screening policy...

The world is not one iota scarier this week than it was last week - except to the paranoid and mentally unstable.

For all the misguided people who claim this is just "leftist agitation" take a read of Jason Kenney's twitter essay - I amalgamated the separate tweets to make it more readable. Kenney is of course the former minister of citizenship, immigration and multiculturalism and current AB PC leadership candidate.

"Just spoke to a former staffer of mine who was raised in Iran. Immigrated to Canada at 14, he ran as a Conservative for Parliament at 19. He is so Canadian he has a maple leaf tattoo. He despises the Iranian dictatorship & would be thrown in jail if he returned there. He has renounced Iranian citizenship, & is one of the most hawkish people I know on national security & integration. He is running a successful startup in the USA. As a result of yesterday's Executive Order, he is now barred from entering USA, where he has created dozens of jobs. Yazidi refugees from Daesh's genocide, US military officers of Iranian origin & countless others join him in being inadmissible to the US, Meanwhile, Wahabi militants from Saudi Arabia are unaffected by this EO. This is not about national security. It is a brutal, ham-fisted act of demagogic political theatre. Now we are hopelessly polarized between the false choice of open-border naïveté and xenophobia. The Government of Canada should immediately facilitate temporary residency for bona fide travellers stranded by the EO, e.g. by issuing ministerial instructions to visa officers for issuance of Temporary Residence Permits under Sec 25 of Immigration & Refugee Protection Act. Republicans in Congress who (rightly) challenged President Obama for making law through EOs should now challenge President Trump's EO."

Reasonable analysis of an outrageous action I'd say.

Harper let a lot in, though it sure was hush-hush.

I'd rather have innocent people inconvienenced rather than innocent people killed. We are in a war with terrorism ( obama said it, among others ) Proper vetting and deportation of terrorists is the responsibility of any gov. that puts their country first. It's a little sad to think that soldiers fought and died so that people like grassfarmer could crap all over the freedoms they fought for. Freedom is a privlige that has always had to be fought for, not something to be taken for granted and callously thrown away.

If this staffer actually denounced his homeland, I wonder why he would have dual citizenship. A solution would be no more dual citizenship with selected countries. Why do these guys need to keep the other other nation's citizenship if they love Canada so much?

Good grief Sumdum, don't go usuing logic, it'll confuse Chuck and Grassy.
I don't think access to another country is a right. I don't think there is a great need for immigrants, unless you are a housing developer or landlord. I think you have a right to be cautious about who you let into your house. I think the United Nations is a useless, expensive entity.
I think you are entitled to your opinion and the right to say it.

Give your head a shake stonepicker you are shooting at the wrong target. I'm the one standing up for freedom and democracy here, Trump is the one taking away the freedom by denying citizens entry to a country they are legally entitled to be in. Need I remind you he was a draft dodger too? so not only is he throwing away freedom, it was freedom he refused to fight for.

Another one that can't read - it says he REnounced his Iranian citizenship not DEnounced - there is a difference. The larger point of the post of course went right over your head.

Brad Wall doesn't agree with Trumps's action and doesn't seem to agree with what you guys are posting, as he tweeted the following:

"Sask has welcomed appox 2000 refugees this past year. We stand ready to assist fed gov't re: anybody stranded by the US ban."

I guess Brad doesn't know what he's talking about either!!!
