OK, add on the 3000 killed on 9/11 and then divide by 10 so it fits in the 10 year average table shown - puts you up to 309 killed by all Islamic terrorists versus 11,737 killed by other Americans. Maybe should declare a "war on beds" as over 700 a year die falling out of bed?

The 45s wouldnt have that capacity. 9mm .
But I sure like the traditional 1911s. Kimbers are nice.
Seem a better balance than the one polymer rig I have with 10 in the mag.

I love my 1911. Shoot .45 acp for Wild Bunch and IDPA shooting. It's a mans gun. Also a true classic. A fantastic, still relevant John Browning invention.

But, in Canada, machete wielding terrorist would need: block attack while stepping from line of attack, secure wrist, twist hand to standing armbar while outside hip pivots back throwing assailant to ground. Follow with ground n pound or rear naked choke. Then surrender to police for charges, loss of freedom, criminal record, etc.

I think everyone should be armed at all times. That way even if you suspect that the guy next door looks like he might be a thief or a terrorist or a liberal you can take him out before he takes you out. That will ensure that we live in a safer, peaceful country!

There are so many ways to respond to chuck, I'm at a brief loss.
When I read posts here I often visualize the speaker though we've never met.
When I read chucks posts, I visualize that kid in school whose voice got high, shrill, and nasal when pointing his finger at you while he tried to make his point.
By now you've figured out my hobby. And I've figured out chucks. Being the Loki socialist.
The beginning of thread is titled scared. Some are worried of physical harm, some, rights infringements.
We are blessed where we live. Most people will never see a sidearm let alone ever feel a need for one. Most of us will not be murdered or mugged. Most of us dont want anything to do with firearms period. We are so blessed.
Blessed that the vast majority of Canadians can live free of harm or access to lethal tools.
Blessed even more that I can safely and legally pursue an anachronistic hobby.
One that, because of our species' nature, will occasionally have profound relevance.
