What I liked about oleary is he said nothing about the attacks on him....he could have refuted them but stayed on his opponent....Trudeau. ....


He is focused....I like that. Funny quips are for in camera meetings and places like agriville....if oleary wins most of the others are going to be on the back benches.

O'leary will have a very tough time winning the Conservative leadership, his own party will use Harper's famous line "Just Visiting" which will do him in.

After listening to the 14 of them, one thing is for sure, Harper did a great job of keeping the talent held at bay at all times. His paranoia made sure no one could come from behind and dethrone from with in the Con/Reformers while serving as PM, and now the Conservatives are left with nothing.

Agriviller's have to put their hope in someone who makes his living in the USA on Shark Tank and makes guest appearances on CNBC with financial advice. Is he rally a Canadian anymore according to Conservative past actions?

I don't think Oh'leery will conduct himself like Trump. And won't let much get under his skin. And not as reactionary as Trump. Let's see if the media is against or for him or how much "useless" ammunition Kevin gives them to use against him.

I personally believe we are going to get two terms of the present "celebrity" before government gets a new ruling party.

Let's hope we do better at choosing our next leader than our American cousins did. And that goes for our current one as well. How about putting qualifications before popularity!

Ignatieff might have been an elitist, but Oleary is "Just Visiting". He spends a lot of time in the USA and that's what the other Con/Reformer candidates will focus on.

O'Leary is dead in the water. To be so insensitive as to post that video when the memorial service was going on, mon dieu! Trump isn't the most sensitive creature but O'Leary is done now.

I feel like we are living in a war zone between two polarized sneering giants. . On one hand, we have JT giving away the store and completely disregarding immigrant quotas to appease the Middle East (for what reason, who knows) and the other hand we are seeing a push-back from the other side. Taking in refugees from war zones is done for humanitarian reasons. Immigration is used to grow the economy because of low birth rates. Whether you agree with either is dependent on your values.

Bang on Oliver88. Chong should run for NDP Leader, much better fit IMO. Policy wise, Bernier has a lot of good ideas but I haven't researched much about his previous political baggage. O'Leary for finance minister?
