    Subsidizing the Canadian media

So it seems the media needs imposed taxes on American content to help the Canadian news.

Maybe if they reported Canadian local news but it seems they are fascinated by American politics.....

    Netflix tax....Google tax etc...

Why doesn't Bell provide some of their outrageous fees for essentially three channels....at different times.....to the fund...

What a bunch of ****heads. ...Eddie greenspon etc.

Bell was complaining that Canadians who watch the Super Bowl on Fox rather than CTV will be able to see the American ads for the first time in a long time as being unfair to them!! It will reduce the viewership and therefore hurt the amount they can charge to run ads on their network. Yup Bell want's to charge outrageous rates, but hates the competition. Bell goes crying to the CRTC who they hate for forcing them to give consumers breaks on TV packages!!

"Keep on Rocking in the Free world" but only when it helps your bottom line!!!

      Moral of the story:

      Watch the SuperBowl on Fox.
If you want to see 25 Canadian Tire commercials watch CTV.

If CTV and other Canadian channels can't cut it let them and their Fake News go under.

Ya, we should see if Sun News could make a comeback, then we could watch real news.
