    Canadian Wheat Stocks

See your on farm stocks at 21.3 million tonnes.

Wether this figure is correct or not doesn't bother me.

My question is how much of this is sold and unsold and in both scenarios when does it hit the market or start moving?

So I'm presuming a lot of western Canadian farmers will start planting wheat in april with a fair inventory of unsold wheat am I correct or not?

Trying to look for reasoning in wheat market.

Australian wheat forecaster suggesting 28 million tonne here and id have a guess and say 8 million tonne unsold rest either csold for cash export and domestic and remainder pooled mostly for export.

Last couple months most farmers in Canada have been slowly selling but not at near the same rate as years prior. The other side is exports and movement have been at a near standstill allowing for in elevator stocks to build. Manitoba has the second highest elevator stocks in 20 years, Alberta is up 10% compared to last year, Sask is still down compared to last year though.

Hopefully this is giving the graincos some options and letting them plan for future exports in march and april.

Many farmers are looking for package quality deals where graincos take good and bad. Bids are getting better and more deals are happening.

Many farmers if they can't find a home for there wheat or at least a decent price then it's gonna sit until they need to dump it to pay the banker or need bin space.
