Immigration is a necessity in Canada, as we as Canadians are having smaller families. Having said that proper vetting is of the utmost importance. As for refugees that is always a touchy situation, it's hard to ignore how other people around the world who are suffering, especially the innocent. We are so fortunate to live in Canada, what do we do just ignore it? I personally feel we have to help in some way but I'm very concerned about our security here in Canada. Regarding the refugees strict vetting must be done, if that is possible as they are refugees and need help immediately. Can you have it both ways, that seems too be the million dollar question.

These are just my thoughts nothing more!

As for allowing Syrian refugees into Canada, vetting was supposedly done. The Emerson situation, I guess we can thank Trump for that.

As for Syrians, all I know that the most profitable company in the world, co-founder was fathered by a Syrian muslim immigrate, but was given up for adoption by the mother because of religious reasons.
