However a pipeline that's designed to carry oil, that's setup to be 100ft below the river, and is downstream of the tribe's water intake area... that requires major protesting and damage to life environment and equipment. That's what you're saying?
I really hope you get rid of all your diesel and gas powered vehicles and farm equipment

These unemployed enviro-wackos have proven they don't care about throwing all kinds of garbage into rivers....include vehicles, oil, sewage, wood, insulation, electrical cable and components, etc.
Another point that was brought up on BNN yesterday is that there has already been an oil pipeline successfully operating for 30 YEARS in this same area without any problems.
If the Clinton Crime family was running the USA these low life protestors might of had their way with Hillary overriding the Army Corps.

Stewards of the land and environmentally consciousness.......our place.
Oil recycling. Filter recycling.
Waiting for the scrap tire recycling program to come to our area to clean up used and obsolete tires.
Household recycling of plastics, tin and paper.
Chemical jug recycling (which our retailer hates).
Conscious fuel conservation.
Recycle anything "Sarcan", even electonics.
Scrap metal recycling.
Automotive battery recycling.
Only burn flax straw crop residues...not cereals or others.
Practice zero tillage with proper nutrient placement.
BMP practices regarding pesticide use.
Nothing gets thrown out the vehicle windows.
Our household garbage can can go many many many days before it needs to be taken out...only consists of dry(or dried) stuff(mostly bread bags or saran wrap type plastics..food related packaging that isnt recyclable) that doesn't smell because its dry.
Stewards of the land.....would they leave behind the mess they did if they "CARED"?

You really have to wonder how many recycling programs are a zero sum game or worse yet a net loss/cost.....
Maybe they are only beneficial to ego and ideology.

Didn't realize cities also put tents wood metal appliances cars and propane tanks into a river...
Still didn't say if you were going to quit using all fuels and petroleum products to protest your dislike for the oil industry.
If all the garbage and pollution is a non story a pipe buried a hundred feet under a river downstream from a water intake in the vicinity of another pipe that's been there for 30 years without a leak should also be a non story.

Thanks Fj. Potatoe peels and anything like it get chucked into the slough in the yard.
Oh ya, and the dog would starve if it had to live off what gets thrown away off our table!
