    Cashing in, renting land out except 299 acres. Putting quarter into Corp with high price to get tax free money out and subdividing house and Quonset to cash in on tax free money before panzine Trudeau take everything away, the 299 acres will be first time beans locked in at 11:70 for 26 bu an acre, then wheat for two years and maybe retire, screw the cwb .

        Bought a half section for $580K that will have to fallowed for two years just to clean it up.....cashflowing it will be tough! ;-)

          Mallee got me thinking that actually we underseeded a bunch of alfalfa last year so that's increasing the perennial portion of our rotation. More cows need more grass.

            Try growing roundup ready canola. I've taken on some filthy land and used two apps of round up and got a decent crop. Munch better than taking a loss for two years

                Looks like it might a few more acres of canola for us.
                Still watching the market news these days.
                Concerned about Trump starting a trade war with China...what would that do to soybean futures?
