    Tractor 600k
    Drill and tank 750k

    My guess 1.35 million.

And in two years it's worth 600k

That looks like a very efficient seeding system.

I think I would struggle to pay for the front tires of the seeder tank.
I could leverage half my land base to own one of these beauties. Then I could leverage the other half to buy inputs so I can rent 3 times more land than I own.

A good friend of mine did tell me...."you got to have a lever." He is right.

And remember the longer the lever the easier it is to move something.....just hope it doesn't snap under the strain of the load its moving and the force required to move it.

Moral of the story....levers can break!

I'll opt for the left example! Even the position of the fulcrum can affect the performance of that option.

If only grain prices went up like machinery. The road to corporate farming is becoming clearer with every increase in production costs. We used to laugh at Russia with its collective farms. We will be there shortly.

The only way these things pencil even with just a lease is 24/7, acres to the max

Agree, NEW tech destroys value of OLD tech. BG 5710 are worth FA. Mine grows same crop as the $1000000 units across the fence.
Best part is the poly tanks, so lighter. Dual fans? BG had that for 20 years, oh ya NEW idea Deere.
All have scales and sectional control, acres to empty, cameras, and are EXPENSIVE and DEPRECIATE.
                      None will pay.
