I am a few years from pulling the pin, my boys will not farm and can i blame them. That being said my land will not be sold in my lifetime and the wife and boys agree the hutts will never have it. I have instilled in them money is not everything, my legacy can give them a home and income for generations. What becomes of it is in their hands, if they wished to farm i would step aside today. Not long ago a cousin was driving truck with a guy from sask who came from a good operation, he asked him why are in alberta oil patch with what you have at home, he replied dad is ready to retire and grandpa owns it all.
