Durum at West coast at 381 a tonne up from last week

Cwrs at 329 a tonne.

Now the basis is port price minus prairie price......that is a pretty healthy basis.

With 2.5 mmt of boats waiting for grain it seems I am missing the marketing signals because not much can be delivered until april as the locals are cleaning up January contracts.

Oh that's right CP is at a whopping 59 percent of delivering cars to locals.

Demand for wheat has been droppping since January. Most Graincos are plugged up and even if they are buying they don't have a home for it past port. Basis can only get so good, and futures don't have any real support behind them. Be prepared for $6.10 or worse till June/July.
