It's likely best to add some people to the ignore list and Agriville will be a better experience.
Any of the trolls who are claiming there hasn't been an obscene amount of rain around the Quill Lakes need to have their brain examined or maybe they should go to Dafoe and put on a "seeding grass around sloughs" seminar and see how that goes over.

What a lot of time wasted trying (and failing) to support SF3s outrageous suggestion that Saskatchewan has endured double the normal rainfall for the last 15 years. I'm only interested in facts and that is not a fact - it's a blatant untruth.
Imagine a thread discussing the difficulty of making a living with a canola market price of $7/bu where it really needs to be at $10/bu to breakeven. But the opening poster states (invents) the fact that all the canola in Western Canada is trading at $4/bu. That's how ridiculous this thread is. Time for SF3 to admit he made a mistake, exaggerated and then you can move on to a sensible discussion.

Well if we had to point all the inaccuracies in what you spewed we would have a thread 1000s of posts long. Regardless, So he exaggerated a bit.... Fact is there are many farms in manitoba and sask that have experienced 200%+ rainfall on multiple years throughout the last decade and never experienced a year of below normal precip in the last decade. Now on both sides of the boarder we are vilified and prevented from even maintaining drains on our private property.

In the summer, when I am watching the EC radar and satellite, it sure seems like there is a pattern where the systems head north right for the Quill Lakes. Then we hear they got 2-3-4 inches. There is often an opposite block over Regina where the fronts get broken up. Sometimes we like it, often not so much. Hopefully for the area that is being tormented by continuous rain, weather patterns will change and work with you rather than against you.

Grass you show how out of touch and actually ignorant you are when over and over you say Saskatchewan has not seen a huge increase in rain.

You should have a sign so your neighbours talk slow to you and use caution

You are correct he did not offer any research to his problem, he reached out to the individual asking if he was okay emotionally when other fellow comrades were choosing suicide.. If you can't understand the leadership skills in this gesture then one needs to just shake his head...

Quill lakes basin, Melfort, Tisdale, Regina plains, Eston/Rosetown/Eatonia/ Canora..... Do you think these districts are the least bit interested in growing grass seed??
I would advise you to look on the forum pages, I think you would be best suited to be posting in the forage/ livestock sections where people could really use your expertise and take in your unlimited knowledge of wealth... Your in the wrong Dating pool my friend, know your Category class....

One last comment as this might shed light on some things.... Research the term "Small man Syndrome". Its a term used especially in sport circles but it plays all too well here sadly....

Maybe the higher rainfall amounts in those areas is the norm? Cant say the 1980s and 30s are benchmark years
                  Of narmal weather.

You are the one making stuff up. If SK rainfall has doubled over the last 15 year period it should be easy to prove as that would be a huge departure from normal and there are a multitude of weather recording stations networked across the province. Time to put up or shut up.

Again give it a rest see I lived here in this country for 50 plus years and remember the dry years of the 60
70s the whole 80s where some areas grew nothing.

Yes rain the last 15 years is double.

One rain grade in Regina at airport isn't even close to reality.

Grass give it up when one glass is full really hard to get second glass to fit in it. Do the experiment you might learn something.

I will say I don't know the rain fall in Europe or wherever you came from.

Big rock crawl back under it.

Grass we were fine, seeded corner to corner and harvested every acre in 2009.
The in 2010 20" of rain starting May 24 and maybe 30% got seeded, harvest from HELL.
You only need ONE year to make a f*cking mess, not 15!

Not disputing that fjlip, the only thing I've been disputing for this entire thread is SF3s bogus claim that Saskatchewan has endured double it's normal rainfall for the last 15 years Which is simply untrue.
