Doesn't that exemplify how politics is a crewed up everywhere.

Chump is more worried about how bad it looks for him to not have it passed. So he still had the ability to make changes that the majoriy of people in the states agreed had to be made to Obama a health care. But because it's called Obama care and chump likes his name on everything he couldn't do what was right for the American people which is make some very needed changes and tweaks.
So now the strategy is let it fail and have people suffer because if it in order to later say see I told you so.
If they would have said we ll change the name to trump care and just make it a. It better he would have accepted it. Too funny. What a dork.

I thought some of you have been calling trump a dictator. A dictator doesn't allow free votes on issues does he? He made lots of changes but apparently they preferred the un-affordable obamacare. Looks like democracy at work.

Trump made it very clear during the campaign, that he was sick and tired of the government always telegraphing what the were going to do next. For example, like Obama giving ISIS 72 hours notice that the U.S. was going to bomb them!
I'm not so sure that the failure for changes being made to the AHCA, aren't by design.
When premiums for Obamacare continue to double and triple each year, as projected, and penalties for not enrolling, move from the token amount of $150-250, into the range of $6-8000 to $10,000-$15,000 range applies on your income taxes(no way to avoid the charges), the Democrats will be begging for changes to their dear Obamacare!!!
That's when Trump will make his deal, and he'll have Democrats signing on with him, and he'll be proven to be right all along, and he'll be shown to be the leader standing up for middle class Americans.

Lets just see how many Democrats are still standing with Obamacare in two years during the midterm elections?

I don't understand why first world countries don't reign in the drug companies.

Cholesterol drugs can range from sfa to 80 bucks for 120 pills in countries from Australia Canada and the US.

It seems no one can control the charges.

And yet it bankrupts free economies and people and eventually the companies....stupid.

Chump is a dictator. It s early in his term all eyes are in his every move. It a not as easy to to put people in cement foundations of towers as in the business world. But it will come as he knows who he can trust to do it with.

Someone knocked off the Russian diplomat that had knowledge of the trump
Crony meetings with Putin???? You can only do so many of those things I one year.

What a baboon he s now saying he never said repeal. It's being played even on Fox News he said it over 50 times. Mental

Oh and um. He telegraphed the planet he was going to repeal Obama care. For such a deal maker you d think he would have gotten everyone on line before making that statement.

He's a school ground bully cry baby. He has no people skills at all other than using his New York mafia and Russian mafia friends to negotiate. Lol

Trump is the ultimate con artist, promise them everything and give them nothing. Healthcare is 2X as costly in the U.S. as in Canada . The U.S. just can not swallow the pill that basic healthcare is a right not an insurable right. You cannot sprinkle fairy dust on it and make it go away. The expense is being eaten by the insurance companies and drug companies. Those lobbyists are not going quietly. Paul Ryan does not even understand that risk is spread over more people costs come down and yes healthy people do pay for sick people.

The real story here is: the ability of legislators to exercise independence of thought in voting.

THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN IN CANADA, which is why we have a parliamentary dictatorship: puppets.

That's very true Vicky. Federally and provincially our mla and mps are a waste of time. Honestly if they did a survey I wonder how many Canadians would say that their elected local officials have any say or represent them properly?

That's why their system of independent branches is proving to be better in some ways. Although at times things get tied up there also. Needs to be some sort of balance.

Can you explain where you get the numbers for this claim of 2 x as costly??

I find this hard to believe since in Saskatchewan over 40% of our budget is for health services and taxes are higher in Canada.....I couldn't imagine it being over 80%!!!!!
