    Petition showing disapproval of M-103

I signed this petition against Motion 103 that will likely be passed Wednesday night or Thursday. https://petitions.parl.gc.ca/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-909

Motion M103 begins the Islamic threat to free speech.

Either defend free speech or you won't have it.

    Parsley.

        Looks like M-103 passed 201 - 91.

Sask MP voting summary on M-103:
2/3 NDP Weir & Benson (Jolibois absent) vote "yes".
        Ralph Goodale, "yes" (of course).
        All 10 CPC vote "no".

There goes our right to free speech it is just the beginning of losing our rights as Canadians. What a slap in the face of all who fought and died for what we have and that idiot in govt can just scrap it.

Thanks Parsley for starting this thread, I think many Canadians are unaware of Parliaments activities because our representatives haven't publicised the proceedings.

The terrorists groups in the Islamic countries know well they are spreading Islam throughout the world by terrorizing their own citizens. Settling in concentrated groups in ridings gives them political/financial power.

Just to keep it simple for simple minds. All Muslims bad All Christians good. That about explains the feelings of many small minded bigots.

When you lump everybody together and make generalized negative statements about a particular religion and blame all Muslims for when only a few are extremists that is called bigotry.

Since it was Canadian Muslims in their mosque praying that were killed in this climate of hate and bigotry we need to spell it out. There is growing Islamaphobia that needs to be stopped.

It's likely true I am simple minded, and anyone, great minded or not has the right to say so.
Many of my family have fought, some died for that right. My memory, not the best, recalls words such
as "He who has eyes to see, let him see, and he who has eyes to hear, let him hear".
Of course many people of any religion are good people. Some aren't. History shows it well.
But our world has changed much since 911. I suspect 911 was not just Muslims but couldn't prove it.
We have a great country, built by people who starved, froze, broken building it.
But I don't see much of the people from jihadist countries rising up against what most people (I think)
would consider evil. Instead I see them willing to risk their lives running away.
In the same circumstance maybe Canadians would do the same?
