                Our dry period was the mid 90's till 03'. 02' being the worst. I seen more 20 bu canola than 40. Sure hybrids and all the other stuff has bumped yields but if we ever dry up like that again there's nothing to win over that. My dad seen dry times in the 60's but nothing like 02'. Heck even the depression they got decent crops with a frickin tiller.

                        Furrow.....What do you put in your plan for target yeilds and budgeting? Spending based on using 60-80 bpa and and I'd be out of business long time ago.

                          well no lol, but no one here can deny that it is more of a trend.
                          We have more and more guys achieving yields never before thought possible.
                          We have seen more than most, yields cut but dry heat , but the trend is there and not by accident.
                          Agronomics and weather play a big role as we all know but ...
