I lived the 80s not just observed them. The drought was bad but grasshoppers caused more crop loss than the dry conditions. Some of those years if you wanted to spray a few times to save the crop it ended up pretty decent.Do not imagine doing drive a drive by you would have seen hoppers eating evergreens and paint off the houses. If I remember some of the areas designated drought for government programs was a joke.

Thanks new guy and yes it wasn't just drive by I worked that area lots. Seen the grasshoppers etc!

        Drought sucks

Just saying direct seeding and new canola still don't handle drought!

Well then 2 major markets for the cuffs friend. Lol

One for the bedroom and one using own canola seed. Most hybrids no no.

That I will agree with flat tire planting RR in canada or liberty farm seed is a no no. Percy comes to mind. But here we decommission varieties because they don't have goo traits for today's buyers, in reality the do so farmers keep feeding the system.

Well you'd be the expert. I see that canola picture of that shitty canola is obviously bin run liberty. Likely about a 1 pound bought 3 pound bin run mix.
                You got balls. Man!!! Lol
