    Ocean Freight

In the grain industry who normally pays the ocean freight. Or is it like barley in Alberta you can get two bids delivered to the end user or fob bin?

What does a rising ocean freight scenario really mean

Similar to Alberta domestic barley. Can be sold at a Canadian Port or delivered to buyer depending on the contract.

Mostly the CWB sells at our port (Vancouver) with the Saudi booking freight from an accredited exporter. How solid are the PRO forecasts. Depends on 1) How much has been contracted to the CWB? 2) How much has been sold at the higher values over the past month/how much is left to sell? 3) How much feedn barley will the CWB accept from here on in? 4) How much will farmers contract above current levels? 5) How solid are current contracts?

PRO forecasts are simply what they are called and still have price risk associated with them. No guarantees.
