Your absolutely right Partners, they are the same. And the TV coverage of legislature and House of Commons is nothing but an advertisement that makes them all look good so they can say this is what I did, more money please.

We have a lot of politicians who made a life out of nothing. Two terms and your gone. F$%K Pensions etc. The Senate is another joke.

Pay a Pm a decent wage because he is running your country. But two terms and gone.

Time to shake up the system as the system is broke.

How many people know true flunkies who get into politics and wow make a carrier out of nothing.

The budget will balance it self.

In some cases it couldn't be more glaringly obvious that some Prime Ministers or Premiers are nothing more than a puppet controlled by the ruling party elite or business interests.... So to say they're running our country is a bit of a stretch, therefore really don't need a massive salary. Sad thing about two terms and you're out could mean a very good leader would have to hit the bricks when they really would benefit the country by remaining leader.

There has definitely been some lame ducks elected as party leader.

Back peddling on some of the Ag related budget decisions would buy him some grace from that sector. What would have jacking up the resource royalties a modest amount netted the Province?

Name a beneficial country leader, farmaholic, like ever. lol Two terms are enough.

Apply a non renewable 6% tax over and above everything else the government may, or may not be doing on one royalty example of oil, would have on 2016 production of 458,139 barrels/day netted the province ownership of roughly 27,500 barrel/day of production x the value of a barrel on any certain day. At $40.00/barrel would have provided roughly $400,000,000 to the province. Repeat with potash and all other non renewables in the province, and add it up.

Can't do that, so let's take it out of agriculture's renewable hide.

                Excellent point Checking.

It would have been to almost everyone's advantage to have taken more royalties especially during the boom, as even if it slowed down investment some, it would have helped control costs for services in the oil patch that got out of hand.

It would have also helped slow down the inflation that ran rampant through housing in the oil patch.

There is a surplus of $300-400,000 houses in the oil patch communities that no one can afford to buy or rent. It basically drove the cost of living up for all residents and especially for those who weren't getting the big wages in the oil patch.

We need jobs but at what price? Sustainable good jobs and reasonable levels of growth makes more sense in the long run. This boom and bust economy is not good in the long term.

                  Checking...

Some are better than others and everyone will have their own bias and opinion.

Some of the least popular are the best and some of the most popular are the worst. Opinions usually based on how they govern and affect you personally or the general economy.

Answered like a true politician....is that wishy-washy enough for you?

I don't remember the governance of Wishy Washy, but I'm positive that this leader had their own spin (cycle) for the electorate. I wish to clean house; you want to clean clothes!

And something is truly wrong, if cc. is going to start agreeing.
