Your right Chucky talking to you is like banging your head against a wall. You keep saying we don't listen to peer reviewed science when it was Michael Mann and the IPCC that never bothered with peer review when they can up with their stupid hockey stick graph that was proven a fraud.

for once I agree with you , can't figure out why people argue with you . you completely disregard any science on the other side . only the science of the acid rain/global warming/climate change money making machine count to you . arguing with you is a complete waste of time and frankly I am sick of being called a "denier" . farmers are probably some of the most environmentally friendly people on the earth and I am sick of listening to it . tell it to the assholes in the city with their 5000 sq ft houses for 4 people and their 4wd suv's that get 15 mpg . tell it to the assholes that leave all the lights on in 20 story office buildings 24/7 . tell it to that asshole that goes around spouting off how bad everyone else is while he heats FOUR f$&King houses and flies around in a private jet . All these pricks are probably going to get their way because Canada has become a country of f$&King idiots , and when our standard of living is reduced to sfa , they will be whining the loudest because most of them are useless. me , I can heat with wood , still can shoot and gut a moose , grow my own food or catch and clean a fish . yea, I'll do ok . The people that are trying to do this thing had better realize all the money they are making on this scam will be worth sfa if their starving and the grocery store is empty

When oil was 150 we were getting 10 bucks a bushel for durum now we're about half that so yes we were better off but only a bullshit artist would use that as an example.

Chuck I think we can both agree that science isn't something that needs to be believed. Myths, religions, Fish stories, locker room talk, fortunetellers, ideologies, These all require belief, science only requires evidence and the opportunity to prove or disprove. Belief is required when something can't be proven or disproven unlike science. Much like how concensus doesn't fit in with the scientific method.

Were you expressing the same kind of concern about consumers transfer of wealth to the oil industry and the loss in disposable income? Or was that okay?
My first thought Chuck is that oil peaked at 147 a barrel and gas at 1.50 a litre. Today oil is $50 a barrel and gas $1.08 a litre. Doesn't add up we are getting gouged somewhere by the oil companies or taxes. Now natural gas at the present carbon tax level in Alberta of $20 a tonne it is $1.01 a gigajoule which cost me $63 for heating in Feb. Now imagine 10 times that at $200 a tonne or $630 dollars for 1 month just in carbon tax. Could we afford to dry grain? As for your question about the profits going to oil companies. When they are making money they are hiring people stimulating economic activity. Increasing taxes and giving it to government does exactly the opposite. It slows economic activity and employment and that is one way to cut C02 emissions with less economic activity. When I look at my farm I could reduce how much C02 I produce with my cows by changing some of my management practices. On the grain side I try to select my equipment on fuel efficiency and I think it would be tough to get much leaner. As for the much lauded science there is no point in debating it you and I will never agree. I will only say that the IPCC is as much about politics as it is science. One question though, did you see the pictures of Obama's latest vacation on that big yacht down in the tropics was it solar powered lol? He doesn't seem to worried about the climate! A lot of hypocrisy at the top.

Agrivillers, ever notice that when predictions, that these envirozealots have made, based on their own constructed computer models, fail to come true as they have predicted, they're not happy for the world!

The dire results they convinced the public, politicians and children, that were going to happen around the world are nowhere near what they predicted, by scale or timeline,,,,,they never seem to be happy or rejoice that their predictions failed and things aren't as bad as they predicted.

When these leftists, tree hugging, environazis get good news because their predictions have failed, they're still not happy!

Yes,,,I can call all you leftists', "environazis",,,,for just as long as you continue to call anyone who questions the junk science,,,"deniers".

For North America, it is evident to me that a longer frost free year is advantageous, as is more numerous heat degree days. I, therefore, encourage all the climate alarmists to keep on pumping all the GHGs they can into the atmosphere as they venture on their way to the next march meeting place destination that will save our planet. Job well done, but please crank it up faster. I'm still to damn cold.

The average person breathes out 2lbs of co2 per day so times that by 9 billion and growing rapidly I guess next the tax will be on breathing. Better yet maybe they will start a pandemic that will reduce carbon emissions world wide.

Where's the uproar over fukishima! We are losing the entire pacific ocean and we don't hear a peep from the environazis. Get your priorities straight you've been brainwashed. Stop calling coal and petrol evil we do not need more nuclear catastrophes.

Also what about the billions of gallons of sewage cities world wide are putting into the rivers lakes and oceans. We can live in a world with a perfect climate but without water it pretty hard to survive and yes the radioactive material in the Pacific is a real catastrophe but funny nobody cares just wait a few years till cancer rates explode.
