Forming on radar again just SW of the Battlefords on radar again.
Will be nice when this shit is done

Are you getting rain or snow? I just looked at the radar and saw the swirl. It is hard to believe that we keep missing that ugly stuff over here on the sunny east side. I hope our luck holds.

Finally seen sun this afternoon. Yesterday and this morning we had snow. We're east of Lloyd and seems south of here there was more snow this last go. Before it seems we've been hammered with everything out of NW Alberta. If the wind blew and the sun shined we'd be going in a couple weeks at best. Fair amount of crop out in pockets around here. It's ****ed anyway. Can't burn much cause of oil leases and fire hazards. Think it'll be a case guys will fallow these fields.

Blue sky now that the low pushed off , although it was -5 early this morning , still good to see the sun .
Forecasts look better but some will still be 7-14 days from getting anything done.
Overnight temps going forward look much warmer and things will start to green up in about 2-3 days.
Going to stick the soil temp gauge in - when the ground thaws lol, and track the ave daily readings over the next 7 days.
Never done that before but given the forecast it should be interesting.
I know some areas will still be far too wet for soil temp to matter for 10 days or more yet regardless.
My guess is seeding will start on lighter land by next Saturday for some guys .

Surprise system dumped on Regina (not sure how much) last night at about 11:00. But gotta report that Lentils are being seeded into burnt Canaryseed stubble SE of the metropolis.

Hopefully don't have too seed into mud.
We have a lot of time yet if needed to get started.
